ScriptRock Launches IT Automation Partner Ecosystem

SAN FRANCISCO - May 14, 2014 - ScriptRock, Inc., the leading cloud-based configuration monitoring platform for DevOps, announced today the launch of a new partner ecosystem to help application owners, developers and system administrators bring their dynamic IT environments under control.

ScriptRock is partnering with eleven of the major continuous delivery, deployment and automation tools. The GuardRail platform is now integrated with world-class vendors and cloud providers to enable unprecedented choice, flexibility and interoperability, while providing enterprises with the visibility & control needed to accelerate IT automation for increased velocity and cost savings.

ScriptRock offers support for all major cloud infrastructure providers including Amazon Web Services, Rackspace, Softlayer and Digital Ocean and is integrated with:

■   Ansible

■   Citrix

■   Chef

■   Docker

■   Puppet

■   VMware

■   Windows

■   Powershell DSC

The DevOps movement is used in enterprises to drive innovation and accelerate the delivery of quality software. In a recent TechInsight survey of 1,300 respondents from large organizations across the globe, two-thirds have a DevOps strategy currently in place or plan to implement one1. Pieter Kemps, who is responsible for managing Amazons relationship with the startup and venture capitalist community in Asia, recently noted that enterprises are using startups to enable their own innovation. Kemps mentioned ScriptRock as a startup offering this in the DevOps space, and cited GuardRail customers like ADP, E*TRADE and ANZ Bank as evidence of this trend.

“Historically, enterprise IT teams have struggled to balance increased speed with quality of code,” said Mike Baukes, co-founder and co-CEO of ScriptRock. “DevOps promotes better collaboration and GuardRails API-based approach delivers a powerful next-generation platform that helps customers get end-to-end visibility of their entire dynamic IT infrastructure without requiring a PhD. ScriptRock is partnering with some of the most powerful IT automation tools in the market, and we’re excited to leverage these partnerships to help large enterprises speed up innovation and gain insights that were previously unavailable.”

“Achieving IT velocity through automation is a business imperative, and ScriptRock and Puppet Labs' continued partnership helps customers with this transition,” said Luke Kanies, CEO of Puppet Labs. “ScriptRock is an on-ramp to automation and our history of collaboration and integration is great news for our customers. We look forward to building on our partnership in the years to come.”
